Robert Francis Goldrich is the President and CFO of the Leon Levy Foundation. He previously served as a Principal in International Equity Sales-trading at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York and Hong Kong from 1985 to 1997 and served as Managing Director of Institutional Equities at Credit Suisse in New York from 1997 to 2006 , during which time he headed International Equity Sales-trading and International Equity Sales in the Americas, as well as co-managed the Equity Middle Markets business.
Rob served in the last six years of the Bloomberg administration as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. Among his major projects, he led the Willets Point, Hallets Point, Major League Soccer, Hunters Point South and Flushing Commons initiatives. He also served as the Mayor’s Office policy lead for airport-related issues, the Taxi and Limousine Commission, Board of Standards and Appeals, the Business Integrity Commission and the Department of Finance. Rob served as the first Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff for New York City’s Hurricane Sandy Housing Recovery Operation. He was also the lead advisor to the Mayor’s Office on investment-related issues for the five New York City Pension Boards and the Deferred Compensation Plan and helped create the Mayor’s Office of Pension Investments.
Rob serves on the boards of The Settlement Housing Fund, Socrates Sculpture Park, and The Nantucket Project. He received his BA degree in History from Northwestern University and his MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture Preservation and Planning.
