The Moynihan Chair at the Maxwell School, Syracuse University
Amy Ellen Schwartz, an internationally renowned scholar of education policy, public finance, and urban economics, was appointed to the Maxwell School of Syracuse University as Daniel Patrick Moynihan Chair in Public Affairs.  Schwartz, formerly a professor of public policy, education, and economics at New York University, where she also served as director of the interdisciplinary Institute for Education and Social Policy, joined Maxwell in August 2014 with a joint appointment in the Department of Public Administration and International Affairs and the Department of Economics.  The Moynihan Chair was endowed in 2007 by the Leon Levy Foundation in honor of the late senator, who was a longtime friend and former faculty member of the Maxwell School.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts
Through the Leon Levy Fund for the Symphonic Masters Series, the Foundation supports many programs of great classical and contemporary music at Lincoln Center. The series brings to New York audiences the performances of musical masterpieces by the world’s leading orchestras and conductors and renowned solo artists.
